Dorothea Walter is an Integral Psychologist, Women's Transformation Coach, Performing Artist and Author of The Big Twist – For more than three decades, her work has explored consciousness, identity, cultural conditioning and the Feminine Principle across psychology, artistic research and social transformation.
Her work asks how deeply inherited ideas about the feminine and masculine have shaped our understanding of ourselves, our relationships and the world we live in. At the heart of The Big Twist is a radically different understanding of the Feminine Principle — not as gender or as the opposite of the masculine, but as the undivided whole, the creative principle of life itself.
Her professional and artistic work has taken her from Germany and Switzerland to Cairo, where she founded Theatre for Social Transformation at Heliopolis University and initiated the Sexual Harassment Free Campus project.
Her publications include The Big Twist – Living in a Lie and Arab Voices for Social Transformation
