Jerry Anselmo

Jerry Anselmo, hailing from Saint Louis, proudly embraces his Italian-American roots. Raised in a cramped household alongside immigrant family members, he overcame barriers to become the first college graduate in his family and served honorably in the Air Force. Since starting the BMA Foundation in 2009, Jerry has built it into one of the best foundations supporting children in Kansas City. He currently serves as executive director emeritus of the foundation.

Jerry has been married to Mary Ellen Anselmo since 1969. Together, they have raised three wonderful children (Julie, Lori, and Brian) along with three grandchildren (Massimo, Luca, and Francesca).
