Ruth Pappenheim, M.A. in General and Applied Linguistics, knows from experience how demanding it can be to write research articles, theses, and dissertations. She also understands that most researchers, already pressed for time, cannot spend years training in the craft of scientific writing. To meet this need, she has developed a clear and strategic method. It begins with recognizing the key features of scientific style, then moves toward applying practical criteria and tools directly to the researcher’s own texts. The goal is to create reader-friendly manuscripts that present research design and scientific reasoning with clarity. Her approach is grounded in theories of language as social communication and shaped by her years of teaching seminars on scientific writing at the Medical University of Vienna and other Austrian universities.
