Veronica Lake

I was born in Cannock Staffordshire England 1957. I am a mother and retired Health care worker working in Mental Health and Palliative care all my working life with a passion for writing. I raised 3 children, Have 10 grandchildren,1 great-grandchild. Throughout my life, i have had the privilege of meeting so many families in different roles in my working career and also socially all of whom have a story to tell. I am a strong believer that we are on a journey in life it's just like reading a book we are the main characters,

Throughout my life i have had a drive to write my biography i have written poetry in a book called Sleeping Winds after the death of my grandson in 1994 i entered a competition and it went onto win an award sadly, i was not able to collect it at that time, but just know i been offered it was enough for me. Once we leave this world are stories get lost in time. I always tell people if you can put pen to paper write your own journal.
