Clare Short, SLP

Clare Short is a speech-language pathologist of 12+ years, living in Atlanta, GA with her husband, three rambunctious children, and a goofy golden retriever. She graduated from Boston College with English and Human Development degrees, followed by a masters in education of speech-language pathology at the University of Virginia.

With over a decade of experience working as an SLP in the children’s hospital and preschool settings, she decided to pursue a dream of writing her first children’s book! When not in her work scrubs or at her writing desk, she can be found searching for the best chocolate chip cookie in the city, savoring the perfect cup of tea, or traveling to the North Georgia mountains for a hike with family and friends.
