DeDe Jones

DeDe Jones is a pastor, singer, songwriter, and author whose life’s work centers on sharing God’s love with all people. As an Associate Pastor at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas, she leads the Crosswalk community of worship each week and reaches thousands more through her inspiring online presence. Together with her husband, Jeff, she co-authored Blame It On Jesus and now Day 41:New Life Begins Now. DeDe believes the wilderness is never the end of the story and is passionate about walking with others as they find courage and hope on the other side of loss.

From a young age, DeDe felt a calling to spread hope, and her path has been shaped by both personal triumphs and hardships, including the rediscovery of her identity through struggles like divorce and health challenges. Now, she draws on these experiences to connect with others facing their own journeys of faith and resilience. Through her music, writing, and ministry, DeDe’s mission is clear: to help people stand strong in their faith, protect the marginalized, and fight hate with love, just as Jesus did.

DeDe and Jeff share a deep commitment to their church’s mission of “Loving ALL people into relationship with Jesus Christ,” and together they are blessed with a son, Owen, who recently began his first year of college.
