Bjoern Thomas is a versatile personality with an impressive career. After studying science in Cologne and completing an MBA at the renowned Purdue University in the USA, he began his career at Procter & Gamble and took on the responsibility of managing corporate affairs at an early stage. He later became a director at well-known consulting firms and quickly established himself as an expert.
Bjoern Thomas has been working intensively on the topic of longevity for several years. For his book, he analyzed more than one hundred scientific studies, including those from Harvard University, Yale University, London Business School, the Max-Planck-Institute, the Robert Koch Institute, Stanford University, and the American College of Cardiology. Based on this comprehensive interdisciplinary meta-study, he developed what is probably the most holistic model of longevity, which includes an analysis of potential in specific years of life extension and life-shortening. With a total of around 40 million person-years, the meta-analysis of the H2W model is based on an impressive amount of data demonstrating the robustness and validity of the underlying results. This sound scientific basis strengthens confidence in his work and makes him a holistically oriented expert in the field of longevity.
By making targeted changes to his diet and exercising regularly, among other things, he could lose 20 kilograms and slow down the biological aging process according to epigenetic tests. His personal goal is to lead a long, happy, and healthy life and eventually become a member of the "Centenarians Club."
During the COVID-19 pandemic and due to his parents' need for care, he and his wife founded a service company for registered nursing staff in hospitals and homes for older people, thereby contributing to healthcare.
Thanks to his intuition for financial markets and real estate investments, he achieved financial independence before age 50. Since then, he has been a sought-after interim manager, supporting private equity firms and C-level executives in the realization of ambitious corporate goals.
In his private life, Bjoern Thomas is happily married and the father of a daughter who is growing up trilingual. In his free time, he devotes himself to his family and his passion for contemporary art.
