Roberto Cruciani

Roberto Cruciani (1972) is a musicologist and musician. He published for Dino Audino Editore Scrivere canzoni in 2005 and Costruire una melodia in 2010. In 2016 he held a series of six meetings called Bass Talks, that were the basis for the three books published on Amazon in 2022 as part of the mini series Music Talks: 1. The Intervals; 2. From Intervals to Melody; 3. Musical Structures. Between 2020 and 2022, he was a speaker in some conferences within the project Brain and its Wonders, on the relationship between arts and neuroscience.

He is the bass player for the blues-rock band Fleurs du Mal: their latest cd Gumbo features Andy J Forest on harmonica. He was founder and bass player in Grey Lagoon, where he worked with Daevid Allen and Niels Van Hoorn. In 2003 and 2004 he was bass player for Flavio Giurato. In the late 90s he started experimental projects on improvisation. He was part of the international theatre group Groups for Human Encounter.
