Kevin Foster

Kevin Foster is a retired law enforcement officer with more than 45 years of experience serving in Fort Worth and Tarrant County in North Texas. During his career, he served with the Fort Worth Police Department, the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office and the TCU Police Department, working in patrol, criminal investigations, and supervision.

In addition to hi law enforcement career, Foster has spent more than two decades preserving the history of public safety in Fort Worth. He serves as Research Director and is Chairman Emeritus of the Fort Worth Police and Firefighters Memorial, where he has worked extensively to document the lives, service, and sacrifices of North Texas peace officers and firefighters.

Foster is the author of several books and historical works focused on Fort Worth crime, law enforcement, and Fort Worth's violent past in the twentieth century. His research combines official records, newspaper archives, court documents, and firsthand institutional history to tell the story of detectives, officer, criminals, and forgotten cases that shaped Fort Worth history.

He resides in Parker County, Texas.
