I work in the financial space, where I lead teams focused on data integration and systems automation. I live in Canada with my wife, our three sons who are each off carving their own paths, and two dogs who make sure I get outside and off the grid now and then.
I’ve always been curious about how things fit together, how systems function, how people make decisions, and how small changes ripple outward. That mindset has shaped both my professional work and my creative projects. Whether I’m mapping out a complex process at work or building a fictional world in the early hours of the morning, I’m drawn to the space where logic and imagination meet.
Outside of work, I spend time hiking, writing, and engaging with science communication. I care deeply about promoting scientific literacy and pushing back against misinformation. As a secular humanist, I value evidence-based thinking, honest dialogue, and the kind of stories that challenge us to see the world more clearly.
At the end of the day, I’m just trying to connect a few dots, whether through data, through fiction, or through conversation, and hopefully leave things a little more coherent than I found them.
