Laura Dobos calls Austin, TX home, where she adventures through life with her husband and their two energetic little ones. Professionally, she is a technical product manager specializing in the retail and consumer products sectors, where she has led initiatives to drive digital transformation and enhance customer experiences. With a background guiding over 400 team members, Laura is known for fostering high-performing teams and impactful results. Her entrepreneurial mindset led her to self-learn coding post-college, launching multiple internet ventures and ultimately transitioning into the tech industry. She also founded a women’s coding community of over 800 members, a space for women technologists to connect and grow.

Driven by a passion for sustainability, Laura has now built Boxifly Recycling, an on-demand pickup and waste diversion startup that helps individuals and businesses responsibly recycle hard-to-recycle items. Her mission is to provide innovative and accessible recycling solutions that make a significant impact on the environment and encourage more effective recycling practices in the community.
