Melissa V. Brown

My name is Melissa V Brown. The V is for VanHall, which was my maiden name. I was born in Altas, Oklahoma when my dad was in the Air Force. I grew up in Savanah, GA and moved to Bulloch County when I was 22 years old. This book is based on a true story of friendship and beauty in Life.

I am a wife, mother, and grandmother (Meme). I have a wonderful and handsome son, Collin L Merrett. He gave me two beautiful and smart grandsons, who are my pride and joy as is their father.

This book is about Daisy, the baby dear who I raised from a few days old until she was 2 years old. Daisy was a joy to raise. She was the neighborhood deer who everyone loved to play with her. She was so much fun and full of life.

We knew it was time to let her be free and live in her to live in her natural habitat and enjoy living and having a family of her own. You know the saying? If you love something, you set it free when the time is right for it to grow and flourish.

I proudly dedicate this book to my grandparents, James A. McNear and Emily Weeks McNear, who unwaveringly believed in me. I also dedicate it to my mom, Donna W. Sasser, whom I adore and who has always had my back!
