Lisa Phillip

Lisa Phillip is an avid reader who grew up among a family of teachers where reading was always encouraged. She has often volunteered her time to serve as a reading guide to assist others to practice their reading skills.

On becoming a first-time author by penning this children's story, Ms. Phillip is delighted to be making a contribution towards literacy in our society and wants to see children continue to appreciate the joy of reading for their all-round development.

This story was also written to honor the memory of her father who was himself a prolific educator inside and outside of the classroom.
