Anna Rooney is an accredited Executive Coach and faculty member at Kingstown College, with extensive experience in Business Mentoring, Consultancy, Coaching and Community Development. She holds a Master Degree in International Entrepreneurship Management, a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy & Audit, and a Diploma in Medicine, alongside qualifications in Conflict Resolution and Mediation.
Recognised by Presidents Mary McAleese and Michael D. Higgins for her outstanding work in diversity and integration, Anna represented Ireland on the European Integration Forum and earned the Top European Leader Award for community engagement. An active volunteer for many years, she has contributed to various community development projects and currently serves as Chairperson of Employability Limerick, where she continues to support inclusive initiatives that drive positive change.
Many who know her have said she should write a book. When the opportunity to collaborate on one presented itself, Anna felt it was the perfect moment to take the leap. Valuing collaboration, community, and diversity, she knew that being part of a project with global co-authors was something she had to embrace.
Anna’s approach to coaching combines positive psychology and appreciative inquiry. She enjoys photography, sharing intergenerational wisdom, and is deeply committed to integrity, transparency and accountability.
