I've always been a bit of a gamer. It's in my blood, I suppose. My earliest memory of gaming was a Commodore 64, a gift from my cousin in Finland. I was a kid, barely old enough to hold the controller steady, but I was hooked. The pixelated graphics and simple soundscapes were pure magic to my young mind.

As I grew older, so did my gaming habits. My parents, bless their souls, splurged on an IBM 486, a beast of a machine for its time. It was a luxury, a full month's salary, and I still don't know how they managed it. But that computer opened up a whole new world of possibilities.

The real game-changer, however, was the PlayStation 1. The moment I laid my hands on that controller, I knew nothing would ever be the same. The immersive experiences, the stunning graphics, the captivating stories—it was all too much to take in. And it was just the beginning.

Since then, I've spent countless hours lost in virtual worlds, battling mythical creatures, solving intricate puzzles, and living countless lives. Gaming has been my constant companion, my escape, my source of joy. It's shaped who I am, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Now, as a father, I find myself passing on this love of gaming to my son. It's a joy to watch him discover the same magic that I once did. And while my gaming habits have slowed down a bit, the passion remains as strong as ever.
