Rico Alberto Morelli

Rico Alberto Morelli is a devout Christian. Born in December 1960 into an Italian Roman Catholic family, he was immersed in the ‘Holy Water’ of Christianity when he was 6 months of age. Rico was enrolled at a Holy Redeemer school from kindergarten to fourth grade, then transitioned into the public school system. By age 14, Rico developed a keen interest in science, particularly physics and astronomy.

Now a retired US Navy veteran, Rico enlisted as an Ocean Systems Analyst on February 29,1980. He was quickly recognized as an exemplary sailor and was transferred to Commander Oceanographic Systems Pacific Fleet as the youngest selectee for the elite N2 Operational Training division. Rico completed a 6-year tour of duty with an honorable discharge, a meritorious unit ribbon, two meritorious advancements, and academic excellence awards. Additionally, he received ‘Letter(s) of Commendation’ from three different U.S. Naval Base Commanding Officers.

To diversify his religious journey, Rico practiced Buddhism for a year, then became a member of the Latter-Day Saints for about 6 months, and ended his journey ‘born again’ back into the Church of Christ, where he still remains a member to this day.

Rico is the father of two children and the proud grandfather of one grandson. Rico’s hobbies include oil painting, glass/ceramic art and media, and he has completed 2 public Dalle de Verre structure glass art commissions with Norm Webber at 2 churches in Honolulu, Hawaii during the 1980's. Rico enjoys singing and performing folk, country rock, and Christian music with his siblings other family members enjoys long drives with his best friend, an American Black Labrador named Jasper Joe.

This is Rico Alberto Morelli’s first book publication. He has other articles on different topics spanning controversial subjects such as extraterrestrial life, alternative propulsion theory (electro-gravitic, warp drive, matter/anti-matter/exotic matter technologies. He is currently writing a compilation of sci-fi short-stories.
