Cohen Stephens

Hi, I'm Cohen Stephens.

I grew up in New Zealand and then in 2022 I set off to explore the world. With me came my plush friend Kleo the Kererū. Over the last few years I've travelled to a dozen countries, many more cities, and a whole lot of local attarctions all the way capturing pictures and stories of these places.

My travel stories and memories started on Instagram for family, friends, and a growing wider audience. After about 8 months of travel in Eastern Europe I started thinking about more ways to share my adventures, and thats where my first book "Kleo the Kererū meets Cohen the Kiwi" came about.

It took a little more than 2 years from that starting point to get it published but now I have and writing has already started on more stories about Kleo the Kererū and Cohen the Kiwi, and their worldwide travels.

Writing has always been a passion of mine, and I have many, many notes with ideas, story scribbles, excerts and more but I never found the time to really kick into one of them. I never imagined Childrens literature would be where I first published but I'm pleased I did and am excited to share the stories with children and children at heart.

Perhaps in time I'll expand on some of the other ideas and break out into different genres.
