Stefania Gander

Stefania Gander was born in South Tyrol to a French mother and an Italian father, growing up in a bilingual region where shifting between languages—and perspectives—comes naturally.

Her debut novel, Maybe I’m Not God – Cat Chronicles, became one of the most notable independent breakthroughs of recent years, reaching the Amazon #Top100 in several countries across Europe and North America.

As founder and CEO of Gander Books, she has built a young publishing house with international ambition and a clear editorial identity. Stefania lives in Bolzano, where she continues to shape stories and publishing projects that speak to readers far beyond their borders.
