I was born on January 29, 1945 in Wolf Point, Montana. My father was serving onboard the USS West Virginia in the Pacific. After he was discharged, we moved to Upper Michigan and then to the Rockford Illinois area. I grew up in a small town and went to work for my mother who owned an advertising agency. I wrote and produced radio, television, promotional materials and newspaper.

After 15 years with the agency, I transitioned to industrial marketing and then as a FM radio commercial writer before working as a newspaper reporter for first a weekly community paper and then the Beloit Daily News in Beloit, Wisconsin for 25 years. During that time and after I "retired," I also published as a medical and features writer for Northwest Quarterly, a major regional magazine with three targeted issues for more than 12 years.

I am now self-publishing those books I wanted to write while I was too busy to do it earlier. I so enjoy interacting with readers and other writers. My primary goal is to get my books out there and read by as many people as possible.
