Dave Ainsworth

Dave Ainsworth wrote the award-winning play Oh Hello! about the life of Carry On star, Charles Hawtrey which was chosen as a Pick of the Fringe at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It also won a prestigious Laurel Award. Other plays include Who's Afraid of Rachel Roberts? (with Helen Griffin), Boxes and Greville's Whore.

A stand-up comedian and actor for many years, Dave was a senior lecturer on the BA Acting programme at the University of Wales Trinity St Davids. He lives with his wife Sue in West Wales.
