Kathleen Langone

The biography on Amalia Kussner, "The Miniature Painter Revealed", has been a goal of mine since I started in-depth research of her 4 years ago. I had actually grown up around her portrait miniatures in my grandmother's home, and learned just a few facts about her. While doing extensive online research, there was so much more to learn about her and with time and I knew I had enough material for a biography. As I started writing, I was fortunate to find never before seen images of her professional and personal life. She interacted with a veritable Who's Who of the Gilded Age, and her star shined bright from around 1893 to 1911. I will be posting "mini-videos" on my various social media outlets.
