Fern Wexler is a young writer and wildlife photographer who lives with five pet pigeons and a rabbit in Portland, Oregon. A dedicated naturalist and avid birdwatcher, they have a passion for helping kids experience the beauty of the outdoors. Fern can usually be found outside, enjoying the Pacific Northwest’s biodiversity and looking for inspiration for their next book through a pair of binoculars.
