Eyal Sheiner

Eyal Sheiner, MD, PhD is Professor and Chairman, Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Soroka University Medical Center. His fellowship at Rush University Medical Center (Chicago, Il) were supported by a grant from the Fulbright visiting Scholar Program of the United States. Prof Sheiner has published extensively in the area of perinatal epidemiology, he published more than 650 peer-reviewed articles and he is the editor of 11 medical books. Over the course of his career, he has treated thousands of pregnant women, inspiring him to create a way to help parents explain the fascinating journey of the embryo inside the womb to their children. His books aim to educate and engage young readers, fostering a deeper understanding of pregnancy and birth through simple, accessible language and captivating illustrations.
