Jules Sherman

Jules Sherman is a medical researcher, product designer, artist and writer. She is privileged to work at Children's National Hospital in Washington D.C. as their Program Director for BioDesign. Jules works with clinicians and engineers to design pediatric medical devices and lectures about design methodology at The University of Maryland’s Fischell Department of Bioengineering, Georgetown University's Health Informatics and Data Science Department and others.

She holds a BFA in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, and an MFA in Design from Stanford University.

Jules writes, and creates images using watercolors, gouache and various printmaking techniques in her free-time. She is the mother of an amazing teenage boy, and guardian of a released Canine Companions for Independence (CCI) dog, Ingrid IV.
