Grian

Grian A. Cutanda is a Spanish bestselling author, psychologist, educator, social scientist and researcher, communicator and activist. PhD on Social Education from the University of Granada, Grian is the founder of The Earth Stories Collection. He has 19 books published, some translated into 13 languages, and a fictional bestseller, The Gardener. Grian has imparted courses at the University of Granada and at the Earth Charter’s UNESCO Chair at the United Nations University for Peace.

As an activist, Grian co-organised the People’s Climate March in Edinburgh, Scotland (2014) and co-founded the climate social movement Extinction Rebellion (XR) in Spain (2019), launching XR in Latin America as regional liaison of XR Global. In 2021, within the XR global campaign Earth Fast, Grian was 33 days on hunger strike in their protest against climate change.

Grian has just launched (2024) a new movement, Rainbow Warriors 3.5, with a global network of storytelling activists: Earth Story Tellers.
