Roisin McLean

Roisin McLean (a pseudonym) received her MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction) at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2012 and has been nominated four times for the Pushcart Prize. Her publications since 2009, written under various pseudonyms, include: fiction in Perigee, Fiction Week Literary Review, Serving House Journal, Pithead Chapel, and GATEWAYS; creative nonfiction essays in WINTER TALES II and OH SANDY!; and interviews in McNeese Review and Ecotone. THE FIFTH EYE is her first published collection of fiction and creative nonfiction. In her free time, she enjoys caring for her pets, babysitting her precious grandchildren (who call her Oma), watching movies, and remodeling homes. Her current writing projects include two collections, one tentatively titled JOURNEY OF THE SPIRIT / SPIRIT OF THE JOURNEY, and the other, an irreverent comedy, tentatively titled WHAT TO DO BETWEEN NOW AND DEATH.
