Denise Abdale

Denise Abdale is a multi-award-winning children's book author, former special education teacher and speech and language therapist with more than 40 years of experience working with children and families. Today, she brings that experience to her writing and speaking, helping families better understand the challenges children face while giving children the tools they need to understand themselves and their world. Her books and educational resources address reading and language development, executive functioning, confidence, inclusion, behavior, and the challenges families face when childhood gets complicated. Through her books, speaking, media appearances, and parent resources, she continues her longtime mission of helping children succeed - one book at a time.
