Wendy Boynton

Wendy Boynton writes cosy murder-mystery books which she hopes will entertain her readers!

Currently living near Newcastle upon Tyne, Wendy was born and raised in the South of England, spending twenty-six years of her adult life living in the Salisbury area where her books are set. It is a city very close to her heart and she visits family and friends there as often as she can.

The Salisbury Murders series follows an unlikely pair of amateur sleuths in eighty-one year old Meg Thornton and nineteen year old Lauren Peachy. The Mystery of the Missing Brooch was published in October 2024 and The Mystery of the Missing Wallet in April 2025. Book three, The Mystery of the Missing Child was released in October 2025 and is now available to buy, plus, there are plenty more to come!

Wendy has followed a number of career paths including nursing, teaching and youth work, in addition to running a Bed & Breakfast during her time in France. Now retired, she finally has time to write her books!
