C.C. Pecker

C.C. Pecker is the pen name and creation of a novelist who grew disillusioned with true-crime fiction and has found joy in the fool-triumphant narrative.

His small-town childhood adventures left him skinned-kneed and sometimes concussed. He grew lost in cornfields, bored at school, and skeptical in church, all the while imagining the hidden secrets behind the drawn curtains of that old Queen Anne at the end of the rutted gravel road.

Now, he winks with affection at the foibles and follies of rural America and its deeply held beliefs.
