Joyce Cyr

Joyce Cyr has over twenty years of expertise in the science and application of dream interpretation and has helped thousands unravel their dreams through public readings and workshops throughout North America. She wanted to share her discoveries with others, so she wrote CRACKING YOUR DREAM CODE. After leaving the business world to pursue a more creative lifestyle, she embarked on a career in the film and television industry, where she worked on productions and was introduced to acting, modelling, and writing.

Joyce is an accidental actor, nature nut, and now, an equally accidental kayaking enthusiast. Based in Ontario, she spends her time paddling quiet waters, writing with coffee in hand, and finding joy (and comedy) in life’s unexpected turns. Since she learned to kayak on her own she thought she would write a book so others didn’t have to. DON’T FLIP THE KAYAK was written for anyone who’s ever said, “Wait... where does the paddle go?”

With a background in acting, business, and surviving Canadian mosquitoes, she knows a thing or two about winging it—and making it look easy. When she's not writing or paddling, you'll find her laughing at herself, exploring the outdoors, and thinking about snacks. Always snacks.
