Hassan Farhangi, an Iranian author, was born in 1970 in Tabriz, Iran. His novels have received numerous awards in Iran, earning him recognition as a progressive and innovative writer. In 2011, due to political circumstances, he left Iran. Before his departure, he submitted his PhD thesis, titled "Words as Therapy," to his university. After immigrating to the UK, he continued his education at London Metropolitan University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, followed by a Master's in Criminology and Psychopathology, ultimately completing his PhD.
Although most of his works are written in Persian, Farhangi is also a prominent figure in the field of psychology. Among his most notable publications are "Rereading Women's Vulnerability to Violence in Iran" and "The One-Man Rule," a psychological analysis of the Iranian regime’s disconnection from its people.
Farhangi’s first book in English, "Donald Trump: Crazy or Genius?" marks a significant shift in his writing. He believes this book explores, in simple terms, the power of words, a key concept from his PhD thesis. With practical exercises throughout, this book aims to transform readers' perspectives and potentially their lives.
