Claire Ackroyd

Claire Ackroyd’s first novel, THE SURFACING, a domestic thriller which was shortlisted for the Lucy Cavendish Fiction Prize, was published in June 2025 by Lake Union Publishing. Her second book, THE UNFORESEEN, is due out in April 2026.

Claire is an economist by background and loves cold-water swimming, travelling, cryptic crosswords and all things book related. She lives in Bedfordshire with her husband and two children.
