Jim Bowler

Jim Bowler's career in education spans over three decades, beginning in the classroom, where he spent 17 years as a teacher, principal, and President of a large private school in Mountain View, California, the heart of Silicon Valley. After transitioning from education, Jim led the tech divisions at major publishers Pearson and Harcourt. He later became the CEO of several startups focused on creating digital content and assessments specifically tailored for the K-12 market.

Most recently, Jim served as the CEO of ESGI and is currently the General Manager of Classroom Solutions at Riverside Insights, a leader in the K-12 assessment industry. Over the past year, he has spearheaded AI initiatives, with a strong focus on how artificial intelligence is set to revolutionize the educational landscape.

His book, EngAIged: Fearless Teaching in the Age of Bots, is a culmination of these experiences, aiming to equip educators with the tools they need to integrate AI effectively into their teaching. Today, Jim is a driving force in the field of educational technology, advancing innovative technologies and AI solutions for educators.
