Trisha Parent

Trisha Parent first saw the ocean at age 23 and to this day, going to the beach is one of her favorite travel destinations. She is the mother of five - three biological children, plus two exchange students which her family hosted. This experience opened her eyes to the amazing adventures, strength, and independence one could have at a young age.

Trisha attended college at the University of Central Oklahoma and has been a legal assistant for 27 years. She owns and operates an online store, Duke Sports, with her boys. Trisha has traveled extensively to places such as Hawaii, St. Thomas, England, Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy.

Parent always carries books in her bags and loved reading to her children when they were little. During the pandemic, she began to write children’s books. She hopes her book encourages families to travel together, go on adventures, and make lots of memories.
