Brandi Mueller

Brandi Mueller is an award-winning photographer and writer with side gigs including being a USCG merchant mariner captain and scuba diving instructor. She is passionate about the ocean and everything in it from itty-bitty nudibranchs to WWII shipwreck and airplanes. She grew up in Northern Wisconsin, but quickly migrated to more equatorial latitudes. She earned a Masters of Science degree from the University of Hawaii and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tampa. She currently calls Micronesia home. Her images and text have been published in many books, magazines and in online content including National Geographic, Lonely Planet, Scuba Diving, Smithsonian Air and Space, Asian Diver, Scuba Diver Australasia, newspapers and online on Mashable, MSN, Telegraph, The Blaze, Life Daily, and ABC News, among others. She loves sharing her travels and adventures in hopes they will inspire others to take up diving or become more aware of the environment both above and below the water.
