Keith Bourne

Keith Bourne is an agent engineer at Magnifi by TIFIN, founder of Memriq AI, and producer of The Memriq AI Inference Brief. Formerly a Senior Generative AI Data Scientist at Johnson & Johnson, he brings over a decade of experience building production ML and AI systems across start-ups and Fortune 50 enterprises. Keith has built sophisticated generative AI platforms using advanced RAG techniques, agentic architectures, and model fine-tuning.

Keith holds an MBA from Babson College focused on technology entrepreneurship and marketing, and a Master of Applied Data Science from the University of Michigan. His expertise spans model training and fine-tuning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), generative AI, machine learning, data engineering, Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles including Senior Generative AI Data Scientist, Senior Software Engineer, Marketing Director, and Chief Operations Officer. His book, Unlocking Data with Generative AI and RAG (2nd Edition), has a strong focus on how to build RAG systems that fully support the most advanced autonomous agents.
