Dawn A Steinman

Dawn A Steinman was born in 1960 and raised on a farm in rural Kansas, where a deep love for animals, especially dogs, took root. This compassion for animals and people alike has been a guiding force throughout her life. After graduating from high school in 1978, she married her high school sweetheart from Nebraska and began working as a nurse's aide. Together, they raised three boys, and in 1991, she decided to pursue her passion for nursing by enrolling in college. While in nursing school, she became pregnant with their daughter and continued her education, ultimately earning a Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2017.

Now working as a Nurse Practitioner and Director of Nursing in a small rural Kansas town, she balances her life between two states, living in Nebraska with her husband near the Kansas-Nebraska state line. One of her favorite sayings, "Do your best to see the best in others," reflects the compassion that has shaped her career and personal life. After 46 years of marriage, she and her husband enjoy spending time with their four children, eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
