Daniel L. Vollrath

Daniel Vollrath, Ed.D. is a special education teacher and education consultant who works with educators and students to incorporate strategies for building productivity within the classroom. Over the past eight years, Vollrath has presented workshops, spoken at conferences, and worked collaboratively with school districts to improve and create school culture and curriculum centered around habits of mind. In addition, Daniel writes extensively and shares his expertise in executive functioning techniques, developing dispositional thinking, and post-pandemic instructional procedures for increasing and building back student habits.

As a public high school teacher in New Jersey, Daniel incorporates and models the importance of productive behaviors in all aspects of the classroom. Daniel’s focus on leading students toward success in and outside of school inspired the writing of his first book: The Purpose-Driven Classroom: Seven Productive Behaviors for Student Success. This book invites readers to learn more about the importance of productivity and provides applicable strategies, take-aways, and reproducible.
