Panagiotis Iliopoulos

Takis Iliopoulos is a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Economics & Business at the KU Leuven, currently working on the DemoTrans project, exploring the relationship between democratic institutions and economic globalization.

He has published in a variety of peer-reviewed academic journals, such as the British Journal of Industrial Relations, Review of Political Economy, Global Networks, Competition & Change and I am the co-author of the Atlas of Finance: Mapping the Global Story of Money.

His research focuses on Employment Relations, Economic & Financial Geography, Geospatial Data Analysis and Input-Output Analysis.

He holds a PhD from Birkbeck, University of London and has studied economics at various institutions including the New School for Social Research, the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Athens University of Economics and Business.
