Richard G Austerman

Richard G. Austerman, a lifelong resident of Kodiak, Alaska, began his writing journey later in life after a successful career in Business Administration. He attended college in Sitka, Alaska, where he met the love of his life, Helen, to whom he was married for 55 years until her passing in 2021. Richard retired in 1998, and what began as a passion for short stories soon evolved into a remarkable writing career.

At the age of 72, Richard penned his first novel in 2016, and since then, he has written nearly twenty books. His latest work, *Gray*, is a testament to his talent for capturing the spirit of the American West. Currently, Richard is working on ten additional novels, continuing to craft engaging stories filled with compelling characters.
