With nearly 30 years of leadership and operations management experience, my professional journey began humbly as an Order Picker at the K-Mart Distribution Centre. This first step ignited a drive for excellence and growth that carried me through roles at Fenn Distributing, Future Shop, and ultimately Best Buy. It was at Best Buy that my passion for mentoring truly took root. Guiding team members from floor roles into management positions became one of the most rewarding aspects of my career, and it shaped my belief in the power of fostering potential in others.

Throughout my career, I’ve focused on creating cultures of continuous improvement and engagement, rooted in trust, support, and recognition. My leadership philosophy emphasizes the importance of developing individuals while driving operational excellence. Whether optimizing logistics or building strong teams, I believe great leaders inspire others to rise to their full potential.

While my professional accomplishments have been fulfilling, my heart and purpose are deeply connected to my faith. As a follower of Christ, I’ve seen how His strength sustains me in every area of life, including my career and personal challenges. This faith fuels my passion for writing books that encourage others, whether they are navigating the complexities of business leadership or seeking to deepen their walk with God.

My writing journey began in high school, and now it serves as a way to share the lessons I’ve learned both in the workplace and through my faith. My Strengthened by the Spirit series explores how spiritual principles equip us for life’s battles, while my leadership books reflect years of practical insights and mentoring experience.

Beyond writing and work, I’m blessed to be a father to two beautiful daughters who inspire me daily. I also enjoy the peace and adventure of camping, kayaking, and fishing, activities that allow me to connect with nature, recharge, and reflect on the beauty of God’s creation.
