Obsessed with stories from a young age, Susan Cahill grew up by the sea in West Cork, Ireland. From studying literature at university, ultimately becoming an Associate Professor of Literature, Susan secretly wanted to be a novelist and simply couldn’t ignore her own stories clamouring to be told.
Now London-based, Susan is a presenter of the children’s books podcast, Storyshaped, with fellow Irish children's writer, Sinéad O'Hart. She has published essays in Winter Papers and The Irish Times. The World Between the Rain is Susan’s debut novel.
