Aimee Cooper

Aimee Cooper is an indie children’s author and illustrator based in Nottinghamshire. Since being a little girl, Aimee has loved the magic of writing and telling stories. Becoming a mum to her wonderful baby girl inspired her to share her stories and finally follow her dream of becoming an author. She hopes that her readers love her stories as much as her daughter does and that they follow their dreams too.

When she’s not writing new stories, Aimee works as a special needs teacher. She enjoys using her love of writing and reading to inspire the incredible young people that she teaches. Her favourite thing to do is relax on a beach, listen to the tranquil sound of the waves and let them transport her into another world. She believes in the power of imagination; a world with imagination is a magical one indeed.

Aimee is always writing new stories. She adds new ideas to her writing journal every day. Currently, she is working on a magical picture book about the wonders of the ocean.
