Mrs Lucy Sage

I'm a Scottish writer, born in Dundee but living on the west coast with my husband and 4 kids.

I have always loved reading and writing is my happy place.

I've had many different jobs (I get bored quite easily) but writing has always been part of my life.

I love autumn, all things witchy, rain, trees, the sea, a windy day, bold lipstick and above all...a nice cup of tea.

I started my YA novel 'The Apple Tree' 13 years ago, just after my twins were born. I'm pleased (and relieved!) to say it is finally finished, polished with 3 rounds of professional editing and is just at cover art stage before publication. Life gets in the way all the time but I'm glad I can grab time to write.

In lockdown, 2020, I sat down to write and 3 children's picture books poured out. No one was more surprised than me that they were in rhyme!
