Award-winning author JH Gruger writes Hard Science Fiction that leans hard into science facts—hopefully making it difficult for the reader to spot the occasional magic.
The Sentinel Suppressions is JH Gruger's debut science fiction novel series. The first two books, Gravity of Sol-3 and Tyrants of Gravity, are available on most online bookstores. JH holds engineering degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and Southern Methodist University, has several decades of experience in computer architecture and design, and has managed international engineering teams across North America, Asia, and Europe. Early in his career, he designed and architected military electronics systems, including infrared image target-tracking systems for the F-18, the F-117 stealth fighter, and the first prototype seeker for the Javelin anti-tank missile.
After raising a family in Austin and Dallas, Gruger left behind a career in computer engineering to devote himself to writing science fiction and traveling with his wife and family between Dallas and Santa Fe, accompanied by two telepathic Italian Greyhound therapists.
