Andro Leyva was born in Holguín, Cuba; on November 26, 1991. His passion for literature began with his grandmother Vilma Pérez, one of the most recognized announcers and writers in the country in the 90s. Additionally, his mother, Dulce Aguiar, was a classical ballet teacher, teaching classes to the best ballet students in Cuba and Nicaragua. He has won different awards in his career, such as from the prestigious Universidad de San Carlos dde Guatemala, SL Arts, Bravo Awards, HCC, among others.
He has written more than 9 books; and several of them have been chosen to be brought to the world of streaming soon, after several years in pre-production. His literary trilogy "Candelabros" (2014) has been the most praised by his fans, as it contains a great suspense story.
Additionally, he is a singer-songwriter, releasing "Bambú" (2023), "You" (2024), and "Bamboo" (2025). He will release his first album entitled "Respect" this 2026 carrying the essence of respect for values, human beings, and freedom of expression.
