I have been a hard-working man my entire life. During my youth and middle age I was involved in numerous business ventures and had little time for writing. My work and my family absorbed all of my time. I am still happily involved in my adult children’s lives but they no longer consume much of my time. With the time available, I have taken on this challenge of putting my memories on paper.
Despite having no formal education in writing, I do have what is known as the gift of gab and with the assistance of my wife I have transcribed some of my memories into this transcript. The stories contained within my memoir are true and illustrate what it was like for me to grow up and survive in the small-town world during the decades following the 60s.
