Kristen Kehrer is a data scientist, educator, and author who believes technology shouldn’t be a mystery—especially for kids. With over 15 years of experience in AI and machine learning, Kristen has taught thousands of professionals how to work with data. Now, she’s bringing that same passion for clarity and empowerment to young readers.

Her debut children’s book, Susie’s School Bus Solution, turns a real-life AI project into a whimsically illustrated story that helps kids (and grown-ups) understand a bit about how computer vision systems are built. Kristen is on a mission to make STEM approachable, engaging, and even a little magical.
