Y M McKendry

A dreamer from a young age, Y M McKendry has been telling stories since she could talk.

She graduated from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec with a major in Creative Writing and a minor in Irish Studies. A yearning for adventure led her to Ireland where she earned a master's degree in Creative Writing from Trinity College Dublin.

Upon completion of her master's, she settled in Northern Ireland. Her love for Northern Ireland and its people, their wry sense of humour and heritage of storytelling, which has sustained them through a history of upheaval, has inspired her to tell the stories of this unique part of the island.

The heart of this country plays a central role in the writing of the 365 Investigations series.

Y M McKendry lives with her husband and two children, who much prefer her stories about baby raccoons.
