Garry Sanderson is a leadership and behavioural consultant. He is the founder of Visualyze, which supports leaders and teams to increase collaborative performance in support of delivering major strategies and transformationprogrammes. Garry specialises in the practical application of behavioural science through consulting, coaching and digitally enabled facilitation.
Through his former executive-level roles in global professional service organisations, Garry successfully led significant operations, major growth initiatives and global change programmes. In doing so, he became passionate about the human, social and behavioural aspects that are key to organisational success yet are so often poorly understood.
Garry has a distinctive academic background, having studied engineering at Queen’s University of Belfast, business leadership at Harvard Business School and Behavioural Science at London School of Economics. In 1999, Garry was winner of the UK Young Consulting Engineer of the Year Award, presented by the Association of Consulting Engineers and the Worshipful Company of Engineers.
Combining this learning with more than thirty years of industry experience, Garry brings a unique blend of practical solution development, global leadership skills and the application of cutting-edge behavioural insights.
Garry’s six-word story that represents his approach to his work is ‘There must be a better way.’
